Andrew Padmore – CEO
Andrew is founder and CEO of Egnida and specialises in creating and developing businesses in environmental markets. Andrew is experienced in developing successful customer funded and third party funded renewable power generation solutions for a wide range of organisations from FTSE businesses to owner managed SMEs, social housing providers and local authorities.
Andrew’s previous experience includes Chairman of Sustain Wales, Director on the Business In The Community Wales board, IOD director of the year and winner of the Environmental Leadership award in Wales and he has also been highly commended/runner up for the IOD UK Environmental Leadership and Leadership in Corporate Responsibility awards. Through both business and volunteering activities Andrew has been using his knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to help regenerate more deprived areas by promoting employment in green industries.
Randall Edwards – Chairman
Randall is an economics graduate and former Corporate Finance partner with PwC, leaving the firm after 18 years to lead the management buy-out of major retail and finance business – Buy As You View.
Randall is an experienced businessman specialising in investing in and working closely with management teams of entrepreneurial businesses, across multiple sectors to build shareholder value.
When time allows, Randall enjoys playing sport, in particular tennis, golf and travelling.
Simon Young - Technical Manager
Simon stepped into environmental engineering 39 years ago in the industrial design development and manufacturer sector. He joined the renewable energy market 35 years ago and has moved through the various technologies designing, developing and manufacturing many new products. His dynamic design ability proves most useful in integrating various technologies to achieve unique results.
Simon is the Technical Manager for Egnida overseeing the design, integration and installation of all Egnida installations. His role includes the production and presentation of whole-building energy consultancy reports.
Off duty he can be found either surfing the waves or diving below them off the Gower coast.
Sean Davey - Energy Advisor
Sean has had 20 years experience developing business solutions in the corporate & SME markets requiring a detailed understanding of a client’s core business and objectives. He has demonstrated his adaptability by successfully moving from telecoms solutions to the freight industry and then the energy market where he has spent the last seven years relishing the integration of the renewable sector into the traditional energy markets.
Sean’s role is to help clients develop a “joined up” approach to their energy strategies, exploring the latest renewable energy technologies and tariffs as well as the most cost effective commercial energy contracts and services. He aims to provide clients with a clearer idea of their energy contract exposure and the potential funded renewable solutions can deliver even if capital funds aren’t always available.
When not in work Sean can be found competing at Triathlon or cycling events.
Amanda Biss - Business Development Manager
Amanda is responsible for managing customer relationships and developing strategic business partnerships. She is an experienced manager and natural communicator with exceptional customer service skills. Amanda is passionate about the environment and making a difference to local communities, successfully managing several community schemes for Egnida.
Prior to joining Egnida Amanda owned an awarding winning information company providing a wide range of services for property professionals, global law firms and the public sector. She was a finalist in the Welsh Women of the Year awards and a long standing Investors in People panel member.
Amanda is a qualified fitness instructor and spends her spare time running and in the gym.
Ben Norrish - Marketing Manager
Ben is a CIM qualified marketing graduate with experience working across the energy industry, he started his career in the utilities and metering sector and joined Egnida in 2015 to take on the dynamic marketing operations. Ben is relishing the opportunity to work within this fast moving industry and is excited to be involved in building low carbon legacies for our customers.
Ben’s role is to manage the end to end marketing activity for Egnida, developing exciting new relationships with clients across the UK, spreading the word about sustainable energy and the benefits that can be delivered through holistic energy strategies.
In his spare time, Ben is a keen golfer and enjoys to travel.
Sian Jones - Operations Coordinator
With 20 years’ experience in the customer care field, Sian has worked alongside a variety of stakeholders from large law firms to the general public; with an NVQ 5 in Business Management she has progressed quickly through Egnida, starting as an Administrator and now taking over the challenging role of Operations Coordinator.
Sian actively manages the day to day operations of Egnida, ensuring the service offered to our customers is to the highest standard; her experience is invaluable to Egnida and helps set the business apart from competitors in the market place.
Sian enjoys cooking and in her spare time can be found cooking up some delicious treats for family and friends as well as her colleagues at Egnida.
